Upstream Hospitality Group is an ever-growing hospitality group that has a wide variety of tastes with a common theme holding them all together: creativity, progression, and originality. When going against the current (upstream), you set yourself apart from the rest, and that is what we strive to do in the most positive way.

Who you are
We're looking for a technical team member to join our marketing department—someone who understands how restaurant technology works at a system-wide level and isn’t afraid to jump in when things go sideways.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires flexibility, responsiveness, and strong problem-solving skills. While you’ll sit within the marketing department, you’ll be supporting urgent operational needs that often happen outside of a traditional 9–5.

  • Experience in a fast-paced hospitality or restaurant environment is required
  • Strong technical knowledge of restaurant systems and how they integrate across platforms
  • Prior experience managing a tech stack or working with tools like Toast, DoorDash integrations, and loyalty programs
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills under pressure
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be available when urgent needs arise
  • Familiarity with basic marketing systems like email platforms, segmentation, and guest data tools
  • Experience at a POS company or restaurant tech vendor is a major plus
What You’ll Do

This role is responsible for managing and maintaining our restaurant tech stack, including POS systems, third-party delivery integrations, loyalty and gift card platforms, and marketing tools. You’ll be the link between operations, marketing, and our external tech vendors—ensuring everything works seamlessly and efficiently across our brands.

  • Manage and maintain the full restaurant tech stack across all Upstream Hospitality brands (POS, online ordering, loyalty, gift cards, guest WiFi, etc.)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for urgent tech issues across locations—identify problems and implement real-time solutions
  • Support the onboarding and tech setup for new store openings
  • Work with marketing on CRM integrations, email segmentation, loyalty program syncs, and other platform connections
  • Own vendor relationships for all technology tools and platforms
  • Document recurring issues, solutions, and system updates for internal reference and training
  • Help execute marketing campaigns that rely on tech platforms (e.g., promos tied to POS or loyalty systems)

Why Join Upstream Hospitality?
This is your chance to be part of a forward-thinking team where operations, marketing, and technology intersect. Your work will directly influence how our brands run, how our teams succeed, and how our guests experience every visit.

  • Career Growth & Development – We promote from within and provide real opportunities for advancement
  • Competitive Salary & Bonus Structure – We reward high performance and leadership.
  • Work with Passionate People – Join a team that cares deeply about hospitality and loves what they do.
While a salary range is associated with this role, compensation is negotiable based on the skills and experience you bring to the position.
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Form CC-305

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
